10 Internet Crime Watches have been set up to cover the entire South Side of Milwaukee. All the reported crimes within each site's boundaries are updated weekly for the past 30 days. News from District 2 and District 6 Police Stations are also posted on these sites. These sites are part of our plan to help expand "Operation Impact" to other areas of Milwaukee. Operation Impact is a program initiated by Alderman Bob Donovan, chairman of Milwaukee's Safety Committee. It is completely funded by private donations, has lowered crime in the target areas, and has promoted neighborhood involvement in dealing with crime. Our goal is to connect neighbors through the Internet in a united campaign to keep our Neighborhoods safe. We are concentrating on our better areas to keep them that way -- and our more problem areas to make them better. Below is a list of the Sites.
